Iwa Yoru

Iwa Yoru takes the familiar language of terrazzo and gives it a richer, more expressive point of view. Against a soft, warm mineral base, fragments of rust, olive, charcoal, muted blue, ochre, and earthy red appear almost like small pieces of stone collected over time. The irregular scale and scattered composition keep the surface lively without feeling overly decorative, creating a terrazzo look with both nostalgia and contemporary edge. In an interior, its multicolored character becomes an invitation to layer: walnut and oak bring out its warmth, deep green or burgundy cabinetry can amplify its richer notes, while plaster, linen, and brushed metals allow the surface itself to become the quiet focal point.
